Our Process
No matter the size or complexity of your remodel or add-on, every project follows the same, standard process, to ensure your vision is understood and executed perfectly:
- Initial meeting – We meet with every client in person prior to committing to a job, to make sure we are on the same page. We also like to inspect the project site to verify the project is possible.
- Project bid – Following our initial meeting, we draw up a rough bid, based on customer specifications. This bid is subject to change, but we do our absolute best to come up with a number that is close to the final estimate.
- Pre-construction meeting – Before the heavy work begins, we meet again with the customer to verify design choices and specs, to further refine schematics.
- Architectural drawings – With most design choices final, we begin putting together very detailed drawings, what some refer to as blueprints. These drafts help both the builders and customers better visualize the work that needs to be done.
- Engineering – Plans are reviewed by a structural engineer who has expertise and training in areas concerning the structural soundness of your build.
- Permits – As your contractor, we submit the necessary permits with the local offices.
- Construction – With everything finalized, we order materials and commence construction.
- Inspections – Following construction, we order all the inspections required by law and also perform our own final inspection, where we walk through the project with the customer and go through a comprehensive checklist of items.
